Well, Bungie never said the idea was 100% original. The similarities are obvious, but Halo does take a good spin on it and throws in some left turns to make it different. Both franchises are equally awesome in my opinion.
I think I posted this after I had watched starship troopers for the first time in a long time and I had this epiphany. I really do love starship troopers, I only played the first 2 halos, and then got back into playstation stuffs. Halo mos def has differences, but the similarities hit me hard.
